Frequently Asked Questions
We are a transportation company that specializes in Non-emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT). We work with city agencies, brokers, insurances, and medical facilities to provide high quality transportation to those who need it.
We are present in all 5 New York City boroughs as well as Westchester, “Upstate” New York, northeast New Jersey, and Long Island.
Your pay is based on the number of trips completed. We have a highly competitive average of $25/trip with a minimum of $15/trip.
We also offer driver incentives for drivers with Wheelchair Accessible Vehicles (WAV), including higher rates on trips.
Our weekly schedule is from Wednesday to Tuesday, so our regular paydays are Wednesday mornings. Trips are paid in the cycle after the one in which they were completed. We have also introduced Instant Pay as an option, so drivers can request funds they’ve already earned that same pay cycle and receive the payment within minutes. There is a fee associated with the Instant Pay option.
During normal operations we manage nearly 6000 trips a day, most of which will be available to all drivers for bidding. Trips that are not available to everyone are those originating and ending in Westchester, which can only be pickup by drivers with a Westchester license, and early morning trips, which are assigned to assure our passengers a ride during those quiet hours.
Yes. We collect what’s called a ‘Base Fee.’ We use a sliding scale for the cost based on the number of completed trips each week. 50 or more trips = $0 no fee; 49 – 45 trips = $25; 44 – 35 trips = $45; 34 trips or less = $60.
WAV drivers are exempt from this fee for their first year with us.
